First/Most
Interesting Job: My first real job was serving as a dorm mother for three years at Lesley College in Cambridge, MA while my husband and I were in law school. The relationships were reciprocal: I was a sounding board and comforting shoulder for the students; they were babysitters for us, as we had our first child during our second year of law school.
Hobbies/Favorite
Pastime: I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, antiquing, reading bylaws (just kidding) and cooking in what spare time I have.
Path to Philanthropy: I was seeking a meaningful second career after leaving the practice of law. Having been a seasoned volunteer and board member over the years, philanthropy always has been part of my life. I wanted to professionalize my experience and live my passion. I was incredibly fortunate to meet Jerry Hirsch at that juncture nine years ago and I have served as president of The Lodestar Foundation since 1999!
Current Position: President, The Lodestar Foundation
