Philanthropy In/SightTM
Philanthropy In/Sight™ is a new, interactive mapping tool designed for grantmakers, policy makers, researchers - virtually anyone interested in the impact of philanthropy around the world today. It combines the Foundation Center's rich data on grantmakers with familiar google maps to tell the story of philanthropy through compelling visual portraits. With support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Ford Foundation for ongoing development and improvement, the Foundation Center is making Philanthropy In/Sight™ available to members of the Arizona Grantmakers Forum, free of charge for one year, through the members' area of its website.
Discounted Directors & Officers Liability Insurance
With the increased governmental scrutiny on the philanthropic and nonprofit sector, many experts strongly recommend that foundations carry Directors & Officers Insurance to protect both trustees and the foundation. Through an arrangement with the Council on Foundations, AGF is pleased to offer its member foundations access to a discounted Directors & Officers Liability Insurance Coverage program. The plan was carefully crafted by John A. Edie, former Senior Vice President and Counsel, Council on Foundations.
Discounted subscription rate to Stanford Social Innovation Review
Special Rate for AGF Members: $49 for 1 year (4 issues) vs. $69. AGF is proud to support the launch of the Stanford Social Innovation Review. Published by the Stanford Graduate School of Business, the Review provides grantmakers with informative research, best practices, and provocative opinions.
Grantmaking Basics Online Course
AGF Members can take advantage of a special rate on the Council on Foundations' Grantmaking Basics course online (150.00, regularly $295.00). Grantmaking Basics Online is a web-based course that offers self-paced learning in the basics of grantmaking from a desktop computer. It can be used as a staff or board refresher course, an orientation program for newcomers or to complement an existing orientation program.

Discounted subscription rate to The Foundation Review
AGF members are eligible for a 10% discount off the new and only peer-reviewed journal of philanthropy - The Foundation Review - a product of The Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Grand Valley State University. The journal, written by and for foundation staff and boards, provides rigorous research and writing, presented in an accessible style. It will share evaluation results, tools and knowledge about the philanthropic sector in order to improve the practice of grantmaking, yielding greater impact and innovation.
