Small and Family Foundation Network

In 2007 we saw the successful launch of AGF’s Small and Family Foundation Network, during which 23 representatives of member and non-member small foundations in Arizona met to discuss important issues relevant to the unique work that they do. The group meets quarterly, and the informal discussion is centered around issues put forth by the members themselves. Last year, our discussions included general foundation management and grantmaking issues, as well as more specific issues around governance and due diligence.

In 2009, the Network will meet four times to continue the support and peer networking that began in 2007. The meeting schedule is below. If you are a small or family foundation with few or no staff, please feel free to join our group! (Open to non-AGF members) Contact Erin for more information.
