Measuring Corporate Philanthropy Benchmark Study
About: In late 2001 and early 2002, the National Benchmark Study, Measuring the Business Value of Corporate Philanthropy was accomplished. The findings of this study, which involved research with three stakeholder segments: employees, customers, and shareholders, were first reported publicly in May 2002. The project was made possible as a result of funding by corporate members of the Council on Foundations and in-kind service contributions from Walker Information.
As part of its biannual national employee loyalty studies, Walker Information released new findings about volunteerism and philanthropy in the workplace as reported and perceived by U.S. workers in September 2003.
