Learning To Give
This website is filled with philanthropic curricula and resources for teachers, social workers, parents and students. Learning to Give is provides plans for a national and international infusion of its academic content into the core curriculum of schools. The long-term goal of the project is to develop and replicate curriculum lessons, units and materials for perpetuating a civil society through the education of children about the nonprofit or independent sector, and to achieve their commitment to private citizen action for the common good.
The LEAGUE
The site offers great resources for making philanthropy part of the education curriculum, including resources for teachers, parents, religious instructors and youth workers. The LEAGUE combines service, learning, and friendly "co-opetition" with live, interactive events. From planting trees to collecting food for the hungry, kids are returning millions of dollars worth of value back to the community.
Youth Philanthropy & Service Program by Case Western University
Youth Philanthropy and Service (YPS) is a program of the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations at Case Western Reserve University. The YPS website focuses on providing resources and support for adults implementing K-12 youth service and philanthropy programs within their schools and organizations. These services fall into four categories: training, communications, convening and professional support.
National Youth Philanthropy Clearing House
The National Youth Philanthropy Clearing House promotes resources for the next generation of philanthropists. The site offers education tools that can be used both during and after school.

ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation:
The ASU Lodestar Center exists to advance nonprofit leadership practice so that organizations can better achieve their mission. Whether the mission is housing, youth development, recreation, or neighborhood revitalization, effective nonprofit organizations improve individual lives and enhance our entire community.
The Spirit of Service Scholars Program (Arizona State University):
The program address the present and future workforce needs in the public and nonprofit sectors by awarding prestigious scholarships to outstanding students and providing them with an extraordinary academic and real-world education, a life-long interdisciplinary network, and committed, effective mentors.
The Grantmaking School
The first university-based program for teaching the techniques and ethics of advanced grantmaking specifically to foundation grantmaking professionals. Part of the Johnson Center at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Generation Next Nonprofit Leadership Academy:
The Generation Next Leadership Academy is a cohort of the Valley's top emerging nonprofit leaders, selected through a competitive process, to participate in a program that provides them the knowledge and tools needed to take on leadership roles within the nonprofit community.
Rollins Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Center (Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business):
Certificate programs exist for nonprofit managers, staff and volunteers, along with board development and nonprofit governance.
Multicultural Curriculum Guides (Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society:)
A listing of multicultural philanthropy curriculum guides that can be used in both undergraduate and graduate courses. This includes a wide variety of topics, including Women and Philanthropy in the United States, Topics in Black American Philanthropy in the United States Since 1785, Topics in Asian American Philanthropy and Volunteerism, etc.
The Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (The Graduate Center of the City University of New York):
The Center serves as a laboratory for developing programs to promote research, education, and public discourse about philanthropy among a wide variety of constituencies. The Center on Philanthropy focuses on giving, volunteerism, and nonprofit entrepreneurship by individual donors, foundations, and corporations in the United States and around the world.
Center for Strategic Philanthropy & Civil Society (The Sanford School of Policy and Duke University):
The Center for Strategic Philanthropy and Civil Society (CSPCS) researches, analyzes, and promotes philanthropy that consistently produces high impact. CSPCS stimulates communication, collaboration, and problem-solving around pressing issues of public policy and philanthropy.

Share Save Spend: The tools and resources provided by Share Save Spend are designed to help youth and adults understand the how and why of their money decisions. Their goal is to provide concrete, actionable tools that help people shift effectively from a spend-centric mode to one that balances spending with saving and sharing.
Inspired Legacies: Giving tools for youth ages 13-18, including: ten 2 hour sessions of leadership training including fund-raising and site visit and

A Vision for and Brief History of Youth Philanthropy (pdf)
